Well it's been a while since I posted.

I had quite a lapse in my exercise routine around the heat wave we just got through. I think there were one or two jogging sessions in there, definitely one on the Vineyard when we visited with Kay's mom. Also a morning fitness show, One of the Gilad shows.

8/10/06 - Yesterday, four laps of the soccer field. Not timed, cause I lost Kay's digital watch when we went sailing on the Vineyard. Felt OK. Not bad after two or so weeks off.

Very, very muggy today. Low energy, and my legs weren't feeling 100%. Decided not to try running today. Tried to walk 45 minutes on the way to work. Couldn't even make it to my usual 181st street destination. On the train at 191st, after about 20 minutes. Just too humid to go on, even though it wasn't all that hot.

Now the sky has opened up, so I don't think I'll be walking home. Maybe I'll try some yoga when I get home. Maybe not.

Blegh.

After a rather busy Saturday (the 8th), including my longer than usual run, about 5 trips to the grocery store and the green market, a walk in the park with Kay, and cooking for several hours, Sunday (the 9th) seemed like a good day for a rest.

Back to it this morning.

16 minute run: slightly slower pace today, didn't feel as smooth. Checked my watch at 4 laps, and was surprised to discover I'd been running for about 15:20. Kept it up till 16:00, about 4 and 1/3 laps.
